Dr Anna-Maria Tamminen is Managing Partner at Hannes Snellman Attorneys Ltd in Helsinki and a highly regarded international dispute resolution specialist. She leads one of the Nordic region’s most respected dispute resolution practices and continues to maintain an active, client-facing role in complex cross-border disputes.
Anna-Maria’s practice focuses on high-stakes commercial and investment arbitration, complex litigation, mediation, and regulatory investigations. She has represented parties in national and international arbitrations under major rules including ICC, SCC, LCIA, UNCITRAL and Vienna Rules, and has acted on matters involving multijurisdictional and parallel proceedings.
She also sits as arbitrator and tribunal secretary in both domestic and international cases and regularly advises on award enforcement, annulment, interim measures and dispute strategy. Anna-Maria’s disputes have covered energy, telecoms, M&A, competition and procurement contexts, reflecting both breadth and depth in contentious work.
