Caroline Falconer is the Secretary General of the SCC Arbitration Institute. Prior to heading the SCC, she worked as Senior Legal Counsel at Vattenfall for seven years. She has also spent almost 10 years at three different Swedish law firms specializing in dispute resolution and has worked at the Stockholm District Court.
She holds an LL.M. cum laude from Stockholm University and an LL.M. in international dispute resolution from King’s College London. In addition, Caroline Falconer is one of the founders of SWAN (Swedish Women in Arbitration Network), and president for the Swedish Company Lawyers’ Association.
She is active in several associations, such as the Swedish Anti-Corruption Institute, the International Law Association, and the International Federation of Commercial Arbitration Institutions.
Caroline is frequently engaged as speaker at domestic and international events for lawyers.
