Roman Prekop focuses on dispute resolution and energy sector matters. For several years, he has been recognized as a leader in energy and dispute resolution in Slovakia by Chambers & Partners and Legal 500. He is recommended by Lexology as a “Thought Leader” in arbitration. Roman is a Court Member of the ICC Court (6/2021–6/2027), European Regional Forum Liaison Officer of the IBA Arbitration Committee (2025–2026), a Supervisory Board member of the ICC National Committee in Slovakia (since 6/2022), and Chair of the Slovak Chapter of the New York State Bar Association’s International Section (since 7/2011). Roman served as a Presidium member of the Arbitration Court attached to the Slovak Bar Association (6/2015–4/2024). He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and a member of the Slovak Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, International Bar Association, and Austrian Arbitration Association.
