DAC Beachcroft LLP (London)

Speaker:

Nora Fredstie is a London based international arbitration partner at DAC Beachcroft, with a global practice spanning investment and commercial arbitration. Dual qualified in New York and England & Wales, she has worked across civil and common law jurisdictions, bringing a sharp comparative perspective to complex cross border disputes. Her experience covers high value matters in energy, life sciences, construction, commodities, and finance, in cases under major rules including ICC, ICSID, LCIA, SCC, SIAC and UNCITRAL.

She has substantial experience in procedurally intensive matters—emergency and expedited arbitrations, multibillion dollar construction disputes, multi party arbitrations, politically sensitive investment treaty cases and parallel proceedings—where procedural judgment and risk management are critical. She also appears in set aside and enforcement actions. In parallel, she serves as arbitrator and on the ICSID Panel of Conciliators.

Recognised for advocacy, strategic judgment and cross examination skills, she also contributes to thought leadership, teaches international dispute settlement, and is the chair of ICC Norway’s Arbitration Commission.
