Discussion panel will cover the impact of IT systems on modern arbitration proceedings discussing the issues ranging from case handling to use of IA.

One of the legal issues is service of the arbitration notice to the respondent who does not participate in the proceedings handled thorough specialised case management systems and does not connect to the system.

Another issue is the assessment of evidence, which is presented into case files, which are in electronic form. In the era when any email can be AI generated, this creates challenged for arbitration to handle the evidentiary issues.

Third issue – use of AI tools by arbitrators – which tasks can be performed – case document summary or research, external information and knowledge finding, the arbitration decision drafting, or even decision on merits.
