Professor Dr. Rimantas Simaitis, MCIArb is an Attorney-at-law, an Arbitrator and a Mediator, currently serving as a Partner and a Head of the Dispute Resolution Department in Vilnius at one of the leading the Baltic Law Firm COBAL. With over two decades of legal expertise, his practice centers predominantly on resolving complex commercial, private, administrative, and criminal disputes. Beyond his legal profession, Rimantas actively contributes to academia and scientific research. He holds positions as an Associate Professor and Senior Researcher at Vilnius University’s Faculty of Law, where he leads the E-justice and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) thematic scientific group. Rimantas is a Chairman of the Arbitration Commission of the Lithuanian Bar.
