Barbara Maucher is a partner based in Noerr’s Düsseldorf office. She is a member of Noerr’s Litigation, Arbitration & ADR practice group. Barbara has long-standing experience in major law firms in Germany and the US and is admitted to practice in both countries. Her practice mainly focuses on representing clients from the energy sector in arbitration proceedings relating to commercial and investment disputes.
Dr. Maucher’s academic background is extensive and international. She studied law at the University of Cologne and Humboldt University Berlin, earned a Maître en droit degree from Université de Paris I (Panthéon-Sorbonne), and obtained an LL.M. from Tulane Law School in New Orleans, USA. Her professional journey includes roles as a lawyer in Düsseldorf and as an Attorney-at-Law in Washington, D.C. She is admitted to the bar in Düsseldorf, the District of Columbia, and New York State.
